Dating goes on
Back in May I started reading a book about finding love in 90 days. Due to my personal lifestyle challenges, the project for me has not been lucrative yet. I also have been told many times to get a better photo, which I am working on. Sort of hard when I live alone and my dogs seem less than interested in helping...........lol I do have a free session of dating advice coming up this weekend with someone that works with the author of that book. I am anxious to see what she can help me on when I explain that I think my white cane red tip sends men packing.

Hope springs eternal. I also have sent some notes to men that live within a reasonable distance to me to finally meet someone FACE TO FACE from this site. I tend to wonder why they are on a dating site if they do not respond to communication. The summer weather in my city continues to sizzle. Hope everyone else is having a sensational summer.

hasta la vista,

tia

thank you for the positive energy. Last night I went to an event that is a social one of people that meet every last friday of the month. I spoke to a very young man briefly before meeting a gal that was quite nice. I could barely get people to make eye contact with me. I do have some partial paralysis on the left side of my face as well as having a white cane with a red tip. At one point in the evening, the gal I was sitting with and I began a conversation with a couple of men. The guy who did the most speaking barely even looked me in the eyes while the other guy that did speak a little, may not have even looked at me at all. I smiled the whole time and made some polite comments. I was ready to mention that speaking to me was a good idea and looking me in the eyes would not cause them any harm. I am a rather extrovert kind of person and am rather amazed when people will not even look me in the eyes. A bit frustrating I must say.

°And insulting. Sadly people do not know how to handle us. I am sick of telling them we do not need "handling" just treating normally. I think you could pull off a good "BOO!" & give them a shock, knock some sense into them.
