Everyone faces challenges. Just be realistic in your goals and expectations. As a male, it is very unlikely I’ll ever get pregnant and give birth, but that doesn’t limit me from doing what I am realistically capable of doing. Don’t let yourself or others hold you back from doing what you’d love to do. While spending 9 months in a cast after shattering my leg in a toboggan accident while on a Braille Institute outing, I didn’t choose to stop living. I continued to take Explorer Scouts on backpacking trips, even finding I was less likely than them to get wet while fording streams (crutches actually came in handy).
You may have a terrific smile or are kind and caring. You could become an amazing motivational speaker… after joining Toastmasters to overcome your fear of speaking to crowds. You either have the ability or have the ability to acquire the ability. If all else fails, you can always become a politician. The requirements to do that are pretty much non-existent. Just look at some of those we’ve actually voted into office.
